Important Notes

  • Connect the GND pin to the microcontroller ground before powering the module.
  • Each LED pin (R, Y, G) is active HIGH; apply a HIGH digital signal to turn on the respective LED.
  • Use PWM-capable pins if fade-in or fade-out lighting effects are required.
  • Do not exceed the rated operating voltage of 5V to avoid damaging the onboard LEDs.
  • Ensure correct pin mapping (R, Y, G, GND) as labeled on the module before wiring to a microcontroller.
  • Current limiting resistors are built-in, so no external resistors are required for standard operation.
