Important Notes

• A and B wires must be connected correctly (swapping reverses polarity)
• Add 120Ω termination resistor at both ends of long bus
• Use twisted-pair cable for best noise immunity
• Common ground reference needed between all nodes
• Half-duplex requires protocol to manage direction switching
